Now theres a new kid in town and thats the mirrorless cameras. These cameras are build just like their counterparts the DSLR where you can have interchangeable lens to adapt to the situation at hand, whether you are taking a portrait with a nice creamy background or out hiking and taking that wide angle landscape.
Now Canon has announced its version of the Mirrorless Cameras, the ESO M10 as the most portable mirrorless camera from the company. Like Nikon has had a few mirrorless cameras over the years with the J and the V versions and Sony has the Alpha line of mirrorless. Almost all of the big name players has a version of mirrorless.
If you are using a DSLR camera, you might consider yourself a prosumer user. While the DSLR yield great images, sometimes the bulk can be a little too much to lug around with you on a daily basis. So as such more people would opt for only carrying their smartphones as the daily camera. Some take it as far as taking only a smartphone on important trips such as vacations etc.
